FUNDING : Apply for the Resilient Agriculture Innovations for Nature (RAIN) Challenge – Phase II

Applications are open for the Resilient Agriculture Innovations for Nature (RAIN) Challenge – Phase II.

Resilient Agriculture Innovations for Nature (RAIN) is a challenge that the Global Resilience Partnership (GRP), the Shockwave Foundation, and the Munich Re Foundation have joined together to run.

The goal of RAIN is to take breakthrough agricultural ideas at the seed stage that are addressing East Africa's needs for resilience and scale them up to viable business concepts that would appeal to funders and private investors. The objective is to find fresh, creative agricultural projects and offer tailored assistance to enhance the potential impact of each project. The challenge will draw attention to the pressing need for agricultural systems transformation and match possible donors with these projects.

They are searching for novel, scalable, and environmentally friendly solutions that can boost resilience, encourage ecosystem investment, and create a more favourable environment for the growth of nature-positive agriculture. Along with protecting biodiversity, gender equity, and human rights, the programmes must strengthen the resilience of people who are most susceptible to shocks and pressures.

Don't miss out on the application deadline which is 30-Jan-2024.
