Funded : Apply for the ILO Fellowship 2024 for Young Professionals

A fellowship programme has been introduced by the International Labour Organisation (ILO) to connect organisations with skilled people. Professionals with qualifications in inclusive finance, microfinance, insurance, and development are encouraged to apply for the ILO Social Finance Program's Fellowship Programme.

Through this programme, innovation projects in Mozambique, Sierra Leone, and the Solomon Islands will be supported by professionals matched with organisations leading the way in financial inclusion. It is planned for the projects to start at the end of Q3 2024.

The programme seeks to match professionals with relevant experience with top impact insurance, microfinance, and financial inclusion organisations. This programme aims to close skill shortages and develop professionals with low-income population service experience.

A one-year placement with a host organisation will be provided to fellows in order to support an innovation project that could involve the implementation of digital solutions, financial products, public-private partnerships, or distribution partnerships.

The role involves collaborating with institutions, ensuring project efficiency, developing client segmentation, conducting interviews, identifying incentives, contributing to financial product design, reviewing internal processes, fostering partnerships, and documenting project lessons.

Make sure you submit by June 11, 2024, at 23:59 (CEST).
