Since this is a remote job, the pay will be determined using the UN Cost of Living calculation, which aims to produce a local income that provides a living level equivalent to that of New York, US. As a general guideline, the income range for this role in the UK is £60,530 to £78,689, depending on experience.

Established in 1992, Equality Now is a global human rights organisation that advocates for the rights of women and girls across the globe. With an emphasis on adolescent girls specifically, its initiatives centre on legal equality, ending sexual violence, harmful practises, and sexual exploitation. They strive to enforce laws and policies that protect their rights, and they have over 80 members globally.

Summary of Position

In order to support the Global Head of Digital and Production in implementing our new digital strategy, Equality Now is looking for a Global Digital Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of its digital platforms. Under the direction of the Global Head of Digital and Production, this position is part of the Digital and Production Team, which serves as Equality Now's internal production and digital agency for programmatic, advocacy, and communication functions in addition to development and broader communication functions. The Global Digital Manager's job is to use digital activities to expedite the implementation of these departments' plans.

With an emphasis on experts, decision-makers, and funders, the team's main objective is to create and distribute expert, authentic, balanced, meaningful, and substantive content while presenting complicated and sensitive information to a variety of audiences. This position will collaborate closely with the Global Head of Digital and Production on the professional database, which is located across NXT and Mailchimp, as well as the team's responsibility for the data and digital infrastructure of the communication team.

In addition to the Global Head of Digital and Production, the Global Digital Manager is in charge of implementing our digital strategy on our website, email, social media, and developing digital platforms. We are searching for someone who can confidently oversee the digital components of our editorial calendar, conceptualise images and videos, site copy, and other assets, and analyse results to modify strategies.

Responsibilities

The Global Head of Digital and Production will collaborate closely with the Global Digital Manager to make sure the organization's content calendar satisfies its requirements. In order to increase engagement and brand affinity, they will design and produce interesting content for emails, the website, and social media. They will also establish the brand's identity and tone of voice and maintain social media platforms.

Creating social and digital assets, monitoring email correspondence, overseeing the Equality Now website, assessing content, putting up paid advertising, and compiling reports on the effectiveness of digital activities are all part of the job description. In addition, the person will oversee the paid advertising accounts, the Equality Now website, and offer guidance on how to react to and enhance digital activities.

Eligibility Criteria
At least seven years of relevant industry experience are necessary for this position. Experience with social media platforms, digital advertising best practises, analytics, communication strategies, website content management systems, and social or email communications strategy are all required. It is imperative to have a solution-driven mindset, proactive organisation, and strong analytical thinking. It is desirable to have experience with data protection principles, writing, creativity, interpersonal management, and graphic design.

- Working outside of the typical nine to five hours is necessary for this employment in order to accommodate different time zones.
