The internship can begin at any time. In addition to working on your dissertation, you'll present and publicise your findings for two to four months. In this setting, you will have numerous chances to develop your professional skills, network with other researchers at the Bank and other esteemed academics who frequently visit, and grow as a researcher. You might also get access to the Bank's data sets during your internship.

Remote Work / Hybrid Work Model #LI-Remote

The Bank offers work arrangements that provide employees with flexibility, enable high-performing teams, and support an excellent workplace culture. Most employees can telework from home for a substantial part of each month as part of the Bank`s hybrid work model, and they are expected on site at the Bank location a minimum of eight days per month to help build connections between colleagues. You must live in Canada, and within reasonable commuting distance of the office.

The internship offers a compensation of $$6,035 per month.
Eligibility Criteria
- It is required of candidates to be citizens of Canada or Permanent Residents, to have passed their comprehensive exams, and to be in good standing with the PhD programme.
- The application for the Bank requires a cover letter, curriculum vitae, extended abstract, and a letter of recommendation. Key requirements include strong writing and research skills, research interests in macroeconomics, monetary economics, banking, payment systems, international economics, global commodity markets, financial economics, labor and demographic economics, mathematical and quantitative methods, industrial organization, and law and economics.
