Position Synopsis:

As part of the job, you will be collaborating with youth to plan the Leading Minds Conference on Climate Breakthroughs in May 2024, arranging the Leading Minds Fellowship, and supporting research projects.

Among the duties are:

• Finding academic institutions to collaborate with on the Young Leading Minds Fellowship and hiring ten fellows for research initiatives
• Assisting fellows and the conference organising team with project management
• Coordinating research initiatives between affiliated institutions and fellows
• Ensuring the calibre of the deliverables at the end and advising fellows
• Answering to the UNICEF New York Office's Youth Engagement Manager

The consultant is responsible for owning computer equipment, covering travel costs, and ensuring payment based on agreed deliverables, with UNICEF having the right to withhold payment for subpar submissions or delays.
