GRANTS : Apply for the Contemplative Changemaking Grants
Applications are being accepted for the Mind & Life Institute's Contemplative Changemaking Grants, which encourage grassroots changemakers to use contemplative methods to address pressing community needs.
In order to make a genuine difference in people's daily lives, contemplative practices-based non-profit organisations, community workers, and individuals can apply for Contemplative Changemaking Grants. These grants are intended for small-scale, impact-oriented projects.
The Contemplative Changemaking Grants are an essential part of Mind & Life's mission to "inspire action towards flourishing," especially in light of the extraordinary challenges of the times. The impact of the grants—as well as the narratives that these projects will produce—will contribute to increasing awareness of and momentum for the contribution of contemplative practices to constructive social change.
With these grants, they hope to promote the spread of contemplative practices and the community's benefits beyond the individual. Proposals in a variety of broad areas are welcome, such as social inclusion, education, physical and mental health, economic empowerment, and civic engagement.

Additional Information
- Mind & Life is adamant that different disciplines and viewpoints should be brought together to provide a foundation for the practical application of contemplative practices. In order to achieve this, a request to attend the Mind & Life Summer Research Institute in 2025 will be made to those grantees who were chosen and who have not attended in the previous ten years.
- Projects that are led by individuals who are considered emerging leaders (18–30 years old) or who identify as members of marginalised groups (BIPOC in the US, BAME in the UK) will be given priority, especially if they serve historically underrepresented and underserved groups in the contexts and spaces in which they will be implemented.
- Proposals originating from nations and localities where financing for contemplative practice-based programmes and scholarship has traditionally been scarcer will also be given preference.
