FULLY FUNDED : Apply for the Rise Challenge for promising Young People

For the 2023–2024 Rise Challenge, Schmidt Futures and the Rhodes Trust have opened applications for a new n/ round of the competition.

The initiative, which is open to youth between the ages of 15 and 17, supports a lifetime of learning and service by offering opportunities for networking, mentorship, need-based scholarships, access to career development programmes, and the possibility of further funding as Rise Global Winners tackle the world's most pressing issues.

In order to find and develop talent from communities all around the world, Rise works with more than 60 partners.

ABOUT RISE

Rise is a program that finds promising young people and provides them with opportunities that allow them to work together to serve others over their lifetimes. The program seeks young people ages 15 to 17 and encourages a lifetime of service and learning by providing support that may include need-based scholarships, mentorship, networking, access to career development opportunities, and the potential for additional funding as Rise Global Winners work toward solving humanity’s most pressing problems.

An initiative of Schmidt Futures and the Rhodes Trust, Rise is the anchor program of a $1 billion commitment from Eric and Wendy Schmidt to find and support global talent.

- A residential summit, scholarships for higher education, competitive funding for creative ideas, network matching, and beginning technology packages are just a few of the advantages that the Rise Global Winner programme provides to its participants. To keep your status as a Global Winner, you must attend the summit. Additional advantages include partner possibilities, career development activities, and access to a network of Global Winners. Depending on resources and demand, more get-togethers for network members to collaborate on projects related to shared interests, including artificial intelligence, might be offered.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates for the 2024 cohort must have been born on or between July 2, 2006, and July 1, 2009, and must be between the ages of 15 and 17 as of July 1, 2024.
