Program Benefits
In accordance with the Dutch Universities Collective Labour Agreement and assuming full-time employment, your monthly gross pay will be €2.770 in the first year and €3.539 in the last. We also provide a full range of secondary benefits, such as an 8.3% year-end bonus and an 8% holiday allowance.
Eligibility Criteria
- A (research) master's degree in Communication Science, or in another comparable social science field, such Media Studies, Journalism Studies, or Political Science, which they will have earned prior to the project's commencement. Applicants who hold another master's degree in research are welcome to apply, but they must provide justification for why their background is sufficient for this project.
- Keen interest in complicated social issues and media agendas, preferably with expertise of them.
- Strong foundation in and ideally experience with data analysis and research methods, particularly with regard to interviews, experiments, open science practises, and content analysis (manual and/or automated); outstanding spoken and written English language skills (since you will be writing an English language dissertation and presenting at international conferences).
