PAID INTERNSHIP : Check out these paid internships at the Wilson Center

Do you want to balance your academic interests with relevant research as an accomplished undergraduate, recent graduate, or graduate student? For the spring of 2024, the Wilson Centre is currently accepting applications for internships as research assistants.

With this exceptional chance, students can work closely with subject matter experts for 12 to 15 hours each week while assisting with research.

In-depth scholarly investigation of today's most important issues will be your responsibility as a research assistant. For individuals who want to grasp their topic of study more thoroughly, this practical experience is priceless.

Apart from research assignments, interns can explore the Washington, DC, nexus of research and public policy, attend pertinent events, and network with experts.

Tasks and Accountabilities - Interns working as research assistants at the Wilson Centre support public speaking, book authoring, and research projects with academics. Information searches, editing, proofreading, compiling bibliographies, and literature evaluations are among the tasks. Although there is some administrative labour involved, the main goals are to strengthen one's sense of accountability and one's capacity for autonomous work.

Spring Scholars of 2024 - For a variety of initiatives, including those headed by academics like Melinda Baldwin-Fulford, Jennifer Eaglin, Haifeng Huang, Robert Jefferson, Natalie Koch, and Alyssa Park, the Wilson Centre is looking for Research Assistants. Projects address a wide range of subjects, including worldwide waste management, Brazilian nuclear energy, and U.S. peer review regulations.

To apply for an internship at Wilson Centre, submit a completed application, cover letter, current resume, writing sample, references or recommendation letters, and unofficial transcript(s).
