Excellent undergraduate students can work in one of the labs at the Max Planck Institutes of Neurobiology (the future Max Planck Institute for Biological Intelligence) or Biochemistry as part of the Max Planck Summer Internship Programme. During the programme, you will learn about several laboratory procedures and scientific approaches. Great students who want to grow early in their careers in research are the target audience for the Max Planck internship programme, which offers a variety of research experiences and knowledge.

To be eligible for the programme, applicants must fulfil a number of requirements. The following criteria must be met: you must be a second-year bachelor's student, have experience with laboratory research, rank in the top 10% of your class, have a GPA of 3.7 or higher, have a letter of recommendation from a professor, be enrolled in summer 2025 at a university that is internationally recognised, and have academic training in English.
