FULLY FUNDED: Apply for these Young Global Changers Recoupling Awards 2024
Applications for the YGC Recoupling Awards 2024 are now open! The Global Solutions Initiative's "Young Global Changers Recoupling Awards" aim to identify, recognize, and motivate young individuals worldwide who actively strive to better align economic prosperity with environmental sustainability and the needs of communities, societies, and individuals. These awards seek to honor practical approaches and significant youth-led projects that drive real-world change while serving as role models and sources of inspiration for future initiatives. Eligible projects can include youth-led nonprofit projects or social enterprises.
There are three award categories:
1. Reimagine Business Award: This category looks for businesses and social enterprises that have adopted business models promoting both social prosperity and environmental goals, addressing challenges like waste production and climate degradation.
2. Reimagine Social and Climate Action: Many people and disadvantaged groups globally struggle to access essential services, while environmental issues like climate change and pollution worsen. This award seeks projects that directly support societies affected by systemic inequalities or climate degradation.
3. Reimagine Civic Engagement Award: In a world where trust in government and public institutions is declining, this category aims to find projects that empower citizens to actively engage in the civic space, promoting transparency, accountability, and public participation in important decisions.
These awards are a platform for young changemakers committed to making a positive impact on the world.
