Details of the DAAD MIDE Scholarship: The major applied sciences university in Berlin, HW Berlin, is offering an 18-month full-time Master's degree programme in "International and Development Economics" (MIDE) that is taught exclusively in English under the DAAD MIDE Scholarship 2024.

The programme prepares students to work in fields related to global economic affairs and development. It is designed for students from developing and transitional countries, as well as from Germany and other developed countries with a special interest in the economic challenges facing "third world" countries.

Students with a first degree in economics, business administration, or other social sciences with an emphasis on economics are eligible to apply for the Master's course in International and Development Economics.

The MIDE Scholarship is one of the postgraduate development-related scholarships provided by DAAD. It consists of;

payments every month totaling 934 euros.
contributions to liability, health, and accident insurance plans.
allowance for travel, unless these are paid for by the home country or another source of income.
Under certain circumstances, beneficiaries of scholarships may be qualified to receive the following additional benefits:

To apply for the DAAD MIDE Scholarship 2024, candidates must submit a motivation letter, transcript, grading system explanation, CV, passport copy, proof of English language proficiency, and a secondary school Leaving Certificate.
