The ESC Volunteering "The European Week "Let's meet!" - a three-week group activity in the Social School in Gdynia, Poland - is currently accepting applications from 15 volunteers from over Europe. The Centre for Youth Cooperation and Mobility is in charge of organising this initiative, which is sponsored by the European Union's European Solidarity Corps Programme and hosted by Stowarzyszenie "Tacy Sami."

A brief ESC Volunteering initiative, "Let's meet!" European Week in Gdynia consists of games, workshops, one-on-one interactions, and intercultural activities. The intention is to gain knowledge of the customs, cultures, and commonalities of different European nations. Informational booths, games, art projects, talks on the educational system, cooking classes, presentations by social activists, and personal interests will all be prepared by volunteers. With one holiday day, the project is open from Monday through Friday.

Participants will stay at the newly renovated Guest House "Żeglarz", 20 minutes from the City Center, with 3/4 newly renovated rooms and a fully equipped kitchen, and laundry service once weekly.
The Guest House offers Wi-Fi access and daily pocket money in PLN. Food expenses are covered by EUR 3,5 per day. Travel expenses are reimbursed based on distance between home and Poland, with additional charges for Green travel. For distances between 100 and 499 km, additional charges apply.
Eligibility Criteria
- Young people from all around Europe, ages 18 to 30, who are not need to get a visa in order to enter Poland;
- An open-minded individual eager to impart knowledge of their culture;
- Take pleasure in working with kids;
-Being a creative, enthusiastic, and engaged person;
-Prepared to remain for the duration of the project.
