Applications are currently being accepted for the Social Science Research Council's (SSRC) two-year, full-time, remote Just Tech Fellowship 2024. Through the support and mobilisation of diverse and cross-sector cohorts, the Just Tech Fellowship assists academics and practitioners in exploring and building more equitable, representative, and just technological futures.
In addition to identifying and challenging the social, political, and economic injustices brought about by new technologies, fellows will suggest remedies that enhance these rights.

In addition to receiving a $100,000 annual prize every two years, fellows also get significant cash for ancillary costs and a separate seed fund for collaborative projects with other Just Tech Fellows.

Practitioners known as Just Tech Fellows conduct programming and other initiatives to strengthen or inform communities impacted by these technologies, as well as collecting data to address important concerns regarding public interest technology.

A resume or CV, a personal statement, a job proposal that focuses on social justice and technology, and two optional work examples are among the required papers.
