Programme Synopsis
The Jacobs Foundation's Research Fellowship Programme seeks to bring early- and mid-career academics committed to improving children's and youths' learning and development from all around the world. Applications are invited from a range of fields, including but not restricted to behavioural science, computer science, education sciences, psychology, economics, sociology, linguistics, neurosciences, and the science of learning.

We especially encourage applications from candidates who conduct interdisciplinary research and combine several levels of analysis. Studies that investigate and welcome diversity in learning, advance the creation and use of knowledge on human learning and development, or support the expansion of successful educational policies and practises are given particular weight in the programme.

2024 is the programme year for the Jacobs Foundation Research Fellowship.
The following questions are of particular interest to the Jacobs Foundation:

What are the variables that affect learning, growth, and learning results when individual differences and environmental influences are taken into account?
How can we develop inclusive designs that broadly accommodate a range of learning requirements so that every child can reach their full potential in school and in life?
How can we create treatments that close the gaps in the effects of digital technology and lessen the widening learning disparities in children?
In what ways may data be used to help educators and students make well-informed decisions about their education
