Fully Funded to Germany : Apply for the IEG Fellowship 2024
Fully supported IEG fellowships are given by the Leibniz Institute of European History to foreign PhD candidates who wish to study in Germany for a duration of six to twelve months.
International doctorate candidates who want to use Digital Humanities techniques in their study are supported by the IEG fellowship.
The study should be related to the cooperative digital projects (like DigiKAR or Shared Churches) and the institute's research programme on Negotiating Differences in Europe.
Dedicated to scholarly research, the Leibniz Institute of European History is a non-profit organisation located in Mainz, Germany.
The institute is a free-standing, public research organization that conducts historical studies on the early and late Modern era foundations of Europe.
You'll get the opportunity to work directly with the researchers in the Digital Historical Research Unit (DH Lab) at IEG. For their projects, historical-focused humanities scholars are also encouraged to apply for the fellowship, provided they use digital methodologies.
