Do you have a strong desire to promote social change and are a former senior government official or staff member? You have an exciting opportunity with Open Society-U.S.!

About the Fellowship Programme: The Leadership in Government Fellowships Programme was started in 2016 with the intention of providing assistance to people who have recently departed the public service after making a substantial contribution to the advancement of social change within the US government. Leaders at the local, county, tribal, state, and federal levels are included in this.

Who We Are Seeking: Public servants with a minimum of two years of service who have served in a senior management or executive capacity are the ideal candidates. Candidates who can question popular wisdom regarding social change are encouraged to apply, regardless of political affiliation.

Program Benefits

A stipend that varies from $110,000 to $150,000 will be awarded to fellows based on how much time they dedicate to their projects.

Have a strong desire to implement policies and solve problems.
want to promote concepts outside of their previous spheres of influence.
wish to include their work in public discourse.
